Tripura Anuprerana Yojana: In the series of launching awe-inspiring schemes of public benefits, Tripura state government has also announced a good proposal for those who want to pursue B.Ed (Bachelors of Education) course in life. Name of the scheme is Chief Minister’s B.Ed Anuprerana Yojana 2018. Total 5000 volunteer trainee teachers will be sponsored under this scheme.
Launch Details of Tripura Anuprerana Yojana
In the meeting of the council of ministers, Agartala, after hour-long discussion in concluding budget session of the assembly, on the night of 5th July 2018, Chief Minister’s B.Ed AnupreranaYojana was finalised.
While key features of the same were publicly disclosed in front of media on 6th July 2018 evening in news conference. Implementation of the Chief Minister’s B.Ed Anuprerana Yojana will take place from current bachelors of education academic session only.
Key Features of Tripura Anuprerana Yojana
- The aim of the scheme is to fulfil the existing inadequacy of trained teachers in Madarsa aided, government aided and government schools in Tripura, which are close to 4385 across the state.
- Moreover, Tripura Government will have to keep aside Rs. 35.5 crore per annum as a cost of this scheme.
- Only those candidates taking admission into NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accredited B.Ed Colleges will be eligible for the subsidy.
Eligibility of Tripura Anuprerana Yojana
- The elemental notion of Chief Minister’s B.Ed Anuprerana Yojana is – ‘State Government will bear interest for four years.’ As there is an opportunity to get an interest-free bank loan for two year B.Ed Course through NAAC accredited colleges only.
- But, only those candidates possessing more than 50 per cent marks (45 percentage for a scheduled tribe and scheduled caste students) will be considered eligible for this scheme.
Training Details of Tripura Anuprerana Yojana
When Karanata state CM was acknowledged with the fact that only 9022 teachers are trained and the remaining 32,980 needed improvement out of 41,912 trainee teachers in the state, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb felt this scheme to be need of an hour.
Teachers are considered trained only as per guidelines Right to Education and National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE). To initiate the scheme, Govt. will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with various banks throughout the state. For further improvements in the education sector of region, Government seems to keep launching more schemes for poor job aspirants in the state.
